Generated Content Usage Policy

This policy explains how you may use content generated using Scalio’s services (the "AI Outputs"). It is intended to be read together with our Terms of Service.

Scope

This policy applies to any images, videos, text, designs, or other content produced by Scalio’s tools when you or your organization initiate a generation using your account.

Usage Rights (Commercial and Advertising)

You may use AI Outputs for any lawful purpose worldwide, including commercial use and advertising, without needing a separate license, permission, or prior approval from the Scalio team.

• You may reproduce, publish, distribute, display, and adapt the AI Outputs.
• No Scalio attribution is required (unless you choose to provide it).
• No royalty is owed to Scalio for such use.

Ownership and License

• As between you and Scalio, you have full rights to use the AI Outputs you generate. Where applicable law prevents assignment of any rights to you, Scalio grants you a worldwide, royalty‑free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, copy, modify, distribute, and display the AI Outputs for any lawful purpose.
• This policy covers rights that Scalio can grant. It does not transfer or grant rights that may be required from third parties (for example, rights in trademarks, logos, or personal likenesses you provide in prompts or upload as inputs).

Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring your prompts, inputs, and use of AI Outputs comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Respecting third‑party rights (e.g., copyrights, trademarks, publicity/privacy rights) in any inputs you provide and in how you use the AI Outputs.
• Obtaining any additional permissions that may be needed for your specific use case (e.g., endorsements, talent releases, trademark clearances).

Prohibited Uses

You may not use AI Outputs in ways that are unlawful or violate our Terms of Service, including but not limited to uses that are fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, or that infringe others’ rights.

No Scalio Approval Required

You do not need Scalio’s approval to use AI Outputs. There is no Scalio‑issued license certificate required for use.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• AI systems can produce unexpected or inaccurate results. AI Outputs are provided "as is" and "as available."
• Scalio does not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or fitness for a particular purpose of any AI Output.
• Scalio is not liable for how AI Outputs are used. All liability arising from your use of the AI Outputs rests solely with you.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Scalio and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your prompts, inputs, or use of the AI Outputs.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Your continued use of the services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
